Tolar tabbed to lead Capitals

Topeka, Kansas-  Dakota Young has stepped down from leading the Topeka Capitals this summer and the Sean Zears, team General Manager didn't have to look too far away to find a coach. They have promoted pitching coach Eric Tolar to Head Coach to lead the Capitals on the field.

Capitals will open the 2026 with 9 game road trip starting in Gering, Nebraska and heading into Colorado to Fort Morgan, CO, travel back across the states to Clarinda, IA and finishing the road trip with a trip out west to visit the Hays Larks
